CMU coach Chris Hanks gets record win
Colorado Mesa University baseball coach Chris Hanks passed Byron Wiehe on the all-time wins list in school history in the Mavericks’ 14-4 victory over Nebraska-Kearney at Canyon View Park.
It is Hanks’ 538th career victory.
Mesa (22-9, 16-5 RMAC) produced 14 runs on 15 hits, including nine extra base hits.
Nolan Snell (6-1) limited the Lopers to three runs on eight hits and struck out 11 in seven innings.
