CMU libero makes all-tourney team

Libero Megan Rush made the Oredigger Volleyball Classic All-Tournament team over the weekend.

The Colorado Mesa sophomore averaged 5.77 digs per set and had 20-plus digs in three of the four matches. She had a team-best six service aces.

The Mavericks (3-1) won three of four matches in the tournament, sweeping Incarnate Word and Dallas Baptist on Saturday. Mesa’s only loss came to nationally-ranked Wayne State (Neb.) College.

CMU hosts the Holiday Inn Crossroads Fall Classic beginning Thursday night.
