CMU softball eliminated in RMAC tournament

Colorado Christian eliminated the Colorado Mesa softball team in the Cougars’ 6-1 victory of the RMAC tournament in Golden.

Colorado Christian (32-26) plays Fort Lewis for the RMAC tournament title. The Mavericks (26-22) will have to wait for the NCAA Division II Selection Show on Monday to see if they receive an at-large bid to the NCAA Central Region Tournament. Mesa was not ranked in the last NCAA Region Rankings.

Colorado Christian pitcher Mariah Bledsoe limited the Mavericks to one run on 11 hits for the victory. Mesa left 11 runners on base.
