CMU softball player selected to All-Region team

Colorado Mesa junior Jessica Severinsen was selected to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division II All-South Central Region team.

The pitcher/designated player made the second team as a utility player.

Severinsen led the Mavericks with a .388 batting average and 14 home runs. She had 41 RBI.

In the pitching circle, Severinsen was 19-6 with a 2.29 ERA with 123 strikeouts in 162 1/3 innings pitched.

The All-Region teams are selected by NFCA member coaches. All honorees are eligible for selection to the NFCA Division II All-American squad to be announced next week.
