RSSCMU wrestlers pick up three wins at Tracy Borah duals
GUNNISON - The Colorado Mesa University wrestling team went 3-1 in the Tracy Borah Duals at Western State College.
The Mavericks (5-6) defeated Newman (Kan.) University 33-15, Air Force Academy’s JV 27-18 and Western Wyoming Community College 47-6. Southwest Minnesota State gave the Mavericks their only loss, 22-15.
CMU’s Tyler Nelson (133 pounds), Trevor Donarski (149), Jon Gappmaier (157) and Zak Slotten (174) were 4-0 on the day. Nick Petersen was 3-1 at 184.
