Colorado Mesa hires former Chadron football coach
Former Chadron State (Neb.) College head football coach Bill O’Boyle is joining the Colorado Mesa University coaching staff.
He will be the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach for head coach Russ Martin.
O’Boyle was in his athletic office Wednesday afternoon getting his new office set up.
He was the head coach at Chadron State the past seven seasons, leading the Eagles to three consecutive RMAC titles and NCAA Division II playoff appearances.
The rest of the staff includes defensive coordinator Todd Auer, Ben Martin (linebackers), Miles Kochevar (defensive backs), Phil Vigil (quarterbacks), Phil Johnston (running backs) and Seth Damron (tight ends).
