Minnesota State-Mankato (44-10) is the No. 1 seed and will play No. 6 seed Regis (32-21), which won the RMAC tournament to receive an automatic bid. Mankato won the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference tournament title to receive the other automatic bid in the Central Region.
