Colorado Mesa runs over Skyhawks

Colorado Mesa ran over and through the Fort Lewis College football team to end a three-game losing streak and pick up its first RMAC victory of the season.

The Mavericks (2-4, 1-3 RMAC) defeated Fort Lewis 22-3 in front of 1,875 on a partly cloudy day at Ray Dennison Field in Durango.

Will Halboth ran for 138 yards and one touchdown to lead Mesa. Jake Cimolino ran for 133 yards.

Caleb Pavy converted all five field goal attempts from 25 to 39 yards.
