Colorado Mesa is back on the wrestling mat Sunday against Northern Colorado in Greeley.

The Mavericks (2-0) are 1-1 against the Division I program all-time. The Bears (1-1) defeated Mesa’s RMAC rival, Chadron State, but lost to 17th-ranked Northwestern (Ill.) University earlier this season.

Mesa had four placers in the Old Chicago Northern Colorado Open last Saturday.

Drew Schumann won the 141-pound championship, defeating CSU-Pueblo’s Chad Vandiver 4-1 in the final.

Jonathon Stelling (133) and Drake Dudley (165) each placed second and Jordan Passehl (197) placed third.
