Colorado Mesa volleyball team loses to UCCS in four

Colorado Mesa University won the first game, but the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs took the next three to turn back the Mavericks in an RMAC women’s volleyball match Friday.

Colorado Mesa triumphed 25-23 in the opening game, and UCCS responded with wins of 25-20, 26-24 and 25-20. The Mavericks led the final game 16-13 before the Mountain Lions rallied for five points, four of them on Colorado Mesa attack errors, to take an 18-16 lead.
