■ Former Grand Junction resident Roberta Mae “Bobbie” Bezyack Biondich, 75, Spring Glen, Utah, died Dec. 8, 2012, at her home.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Mountain View Cemetery in Helper, Utah.
■ Jasper Cates, 22, Fruita, died Dec. 6, 2012, in rural Mesa County.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary. Private services will be at a later date.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca; two sons, Jayden and Landon, both of Fruita; his parents, Troy and Theresa Cates of Fruita and Katherine Morris of Grand Junction; one brother, Kenneth of Rifle; and two sisters, Amber Cates of Fruita and JeTaime Cates of Clifton.
■ Frances “Frannie” Nitsch-Evans, 80, Clifton, died Dec. 7, 2012, at Community Hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.
Mrs. Nitsch-Evans was an artist and homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Dave; one son, John of Buena Vista; one brother, Ralph Cynova of Grand Island, Neb.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

■ Michael Patrick O’Brien, 68, Grand Junction, died Nov. 28, 2012, at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Services will be in Hilo, Hawaii.
Mr. O’Brien was an independent contractor with the Hawaii Tribune-Herald.
Survivors include four daughters, Dawn O’Brien of Honolulu, Christina Olive of Hilo, Michelle Choate of Franklin, Tenn., and Darlene O’Brien of Kaneohe, Hawaii; his parents, Kenneth and Elizabeth O’Brien of Gig Harbor, Wash.; two brothers, Timothy L. of Medford, Ore., and Kevin S. of Grants Pass, Ore.; three sisters, Judy Faunce of Molina, Katherine Kennedy of Hilo and Kimberly C. Gartland of Gig Harbor; and eight grandchildren.
