•  Donald Edwin Owen, 79, Hotchkiss, died Feb. 4, 2009, at Delta County Memorial Hospital.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Mesa View Mortuary.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Bible Center Church in Paonia. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Hotchkiss.

Mr. Owen was a retired general contractor for concrete construction.

Survivors include his wife Lois; two sons, James of DeKalb, Ill., and John, a missionary in Ecuador; one brother, Jerry of Wakefield, Mass.; six grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren.
