Desert Rocks Music Festival rolls into Moab
Flanked by the red rock desert and La Salle Mountains around Moab, Utah, the Desert Rocks Music Festival will give people a combination of festive music and the great outdoors.
The festival is Thursday through Sunday, May 27–30.
Among bands scheduled to appear on the festival’s three stages are The Motet, Groundation, JGB featuring Melvin Seals, Emmitt-Nershi Band, Chali 2na of Jurassic 5 and several additional Grand Valley bands.
In addition to music, side attractions available at the Desert Rocks Music Festival include an aerial ballet, fire dance, hot air balloon rides and yoga.
Camping is free with the purchase of a two-, three- or four-day festival pass.
Food, clothing, crafts and art vendors also will be on hand.
Festival passes range from $45 for a one-day pass, $105 for a full-weekend pass (an online special through Wednesday, May 26) to $345 for a full-weekend, all-access VIP pass.
