Dixie State holds off Colorado Mesa men’s basketball

Colorado Mesa rallied from a 22-point deficit to get within two points with 15 seconds left and had a chance to tie it, but missed in a 67-63 loss to Dixie State (Utah) College at Brownson Arena.

Dixie State’s Solomon Jensen hit two free throws to seal the victory.

Michael Bear led the Mavericks (2-2) with 19 points. Shawn King had 16 and Colton Burgon added 10 off the bench.
