Have you ever sat at a JUCO World Series game and wondered “Why is the left-field wall twice as high as the rest of the fence?” or “Why are there two teams from Texas?” or even “How many hot dogs do they sell during the week?”
The Daily Sentinel would love to answer those questions for you in our annual JUCO World Series special edition that will be published the day before the tournament begins. No question is too far out in left field, and although we might not be able to answer every question, we’ll sure try.
We’ll tackle questions about the teams, the food and concessions, the organization that runs the event, the history, the stadium, the games themselves and provide information to help fans enjoy the week ... and anything else that comes to mind.
Please, this is not a forum to complain about fireworks waking you up or scaring your dog, or that the music is too loud or isn’t your favorite genre; there’s plenty of time to address those in “You Said It” after the tournament.
