RSSDriggs: Man behind the mansion was prone to flights of imagination
A three-man crew with Alpine Archaeological Consultants Inc. of Montrose worked on Driggs Mansion in Unaweep Canyon last fall to stabilize the mansion. The mansion was constructed in the early 1900s by Lawrence La Tourette Driggs on 320 acres of land acquired through the Desert Land Act.
