The Fruita Monument High School girls lacrosse team was outscored 9-3 in the second half of a 13-8 loss at Battle Mountain on Thursday.

The Wildcats had an 8-6 lead in the second half, before the Huskies scored seven unanswered goals. A pair of yellow cards put Fruita Monument down a player, which contributed to Battle Mountain’s run.
