Rockies change Friday game time

The Grand Junction Rockies have moved Friday’s game up one half-hour to 6:30 p.m. instead of the usual 7:05 first pitch.

The Rockies play Orem in a three-game series, with the July 4 fireworks show following Friday night’s game. Gates open at 4:30 p.m., with live music to entertain fans. Fans who plan to attend the fireworks show inside the stadium must purchase a game ticket.

Tickets are on sale at gjrockies.com and can be printed at home. Tickets are also on sale at most City Market stores in Grand Junction, at the Rockies’ front office, 1315 North Ave., or by calling 255-7625.
