Hop on the bus, go to JUCO

The JUCO Shuttle bus from Grand Valley Transit will run every 30 minutes during the Alpine Bank Junior College World Series at the new bus pullout on North Avenue, right in front of Suplizio Field.

On Saturday, the bus routes start at 7:30 a.m., with the first run Sunday and Monday at 8:30 a.m.

Tuesday, the first run begins at 9:30 a.m., then at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday. The final weekend, the first run is at 5:30 p.m. The final run is at 10 p.m., or one hour after the final game of the night ends.

The route stops at the parking garage at the Maverick Center by the soccer field at Colorado Mesa University at 12th Street and Orchard Avenue, then makes stops at seven hotels along Horizon Drive,

The shuttle is free to anyone with a tournament pass or single-game ticket to the JUCO World Series.

Grand Valley Transit’s regular routes also will be running, so passengers should check the bus signs to make sure they board the JUCO Shuttle.
