RSSIowa Western rallies to defeat Seward County
Iowa Western Community College overcame an early 4-0 deficit to defeat Seward County 17-9 in seven innings at Alpine Bank Junior College World Series.
Mitch Warne was 3 for 4 with six RBI for the Reivers (41-18). A.J. Gaura pitched four innings in relief and picked up the victory.
Iowa Western advances to play Navarro in Game 9 at 2 p.m. Monday. Seward County (43-19) plays Southern Union State (Ala.) Community College at 2 p.m. today in an elimination game.
