Junction girls lacrosse draws Douglas County
The Grand Junction High School girls lacrosse team will face the Douglas County Huskies in the first round of the Colorado High School Activities Association state playoffs, CHSAA announced.
Douglas County (9-6) handed the Tigers (14-1) their only loss of the season a little more than a week ago. The game is set for 4 p.m. Wednesday at Mesa State College’s Walker Field. There is a $5 for students and $6 for adults for the game.
Grand Junction is the 13th seed. Douglas County is the 20th seed.
The winner advances to the second round Saturday.
