Kids, consider the call of the wild
It’s the call of the wild in the form of a casting call at Sportsman’s Warehouse for a new show to debut on The Sportsman Channel in 2012.
The producers of “Wyoming’s Call of the Wild” are seeking children ages 14–17 who are interested in hunting and fishing but have limited resources to get more involved.
A parent or guardian will need to be at the Saturday casting call to fill out a brief questionnaire and then filmed in an interview with their child.
Children chosen for “Wyoming’s Call of the Wild” will be introduced to hunting, fishing and “the impact that a life in the outdoors can provide,” according to a news release. “Through a child’s own personal struggles or situations, audience will go along on their journey of transformation and empowerment that only outdoors activities can provide.”
