The Bulldogs (9-5, 6-3 WSL) are tied for second place in the league with Rifle, trailing only fourth-ranked and undefeated Glenwood Springs.
Palisade held the Devils to only four points in the first quarter and two points in the fourth quarter. Bulldogs coach Daniel Bagwell said her squad’s communication started strong, but waned in the middle two quarters.
“I don’t know, we just talked a little bit more,” Bagwell said. “We know that we have that help-side defense and that means we can be a little more aggressive out there.”
