Petersen defeated top seed Walker Clarke of Fort Hays State 4-3 in the 184-pound final. Retana-Quinones defeated top seed Justin Glenn of Fort Hays State 5-4 in overtime in the heavyweight final.

Mesa junior 157-pounder Jon Gappmaier and sophomore 165-pounder Dylan Granard placed second and qualified for nationals with redshirt freshman James Martinez, who placed fourth at 141 pounds.
