Mavericks enter rankings at No. 21

Colorado Mesa has moved into a pair of national polls, both of which have the Mavericks ranked No. 21 in the nation.

The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association rankings moved the Mavs from the “receiving votes” category to No. 21 in the nation and No. 3 in the Central Region behind St. Cloud State and Minnesota State, which are tied for No. 1.

The Collegiate Baseball rankings also have Mesa No. 21 nationally after not being in the most recent poll. The official NCAA Division II Central Region rankings have not been released yet this season.
