Favorite player growing up: Todd Helton. I just always admired how he plays the game with such humility and respect. He went out every day and played hard, was very humble and always gave back.

Who has influenced you most? Wayne and Jeff Doland. Both of them coached me all through high school (Regis Jesuit) and really allowed me to get to where I am today. They taught me about baseball and life, and how both of them can help the other.

Favorite pregame meal: Usually a sandwich and fruit. I’m not too picky.

Greatest baseball accomplishment: In the summer of 2011, I signed with the Rockies and played against the Cincinnati Reds in my country. I hit a home run to score two and hit four times and we won.

Goals for this season: Batting average of .350, eight home runs. Learn English. Have a great summer in Colorado with my host family, the Sneddons.

Favorite player growing up: Ken Griffey Jr. because I was little watching him every time he went up to bat and he always hit.

Who has influenced you most? My brothers were players and Alfonso Soriano helps me still and gives me lots of tips.

Off-field hobbies: Go to the beach. Hang out with my family and enjoy a meal we all cook together. I like to go dancing. I enjoy going to church.

Who has influenced you most? My dad. He was a former big leaguer, so he is the one that taught me how to play baseball (when) I was a young kid and always gave me support for everything.
