RSSMesa men roll to big victory over Neb.-Kearney
Colton Burgon scores a career-high 27 points and grabs eight rebounds to lead the Colorado Mesa University men’s basketball team to a 79-53 victory over Nebraska-Kearney.
The Mavericks (4-2, 2-0 RMAC) went on a 12-2 run to close the first half then goes on an 11-2 run to start the second half and pulls away.
Mesa shoots 61 percent from the field and outrebounds Kearney 41-31.
