Music and movement classes to be offered at Riverside Multicultural Center

Music Together of Grand Junction is offering music and movement classes for children, from birth through kindergarten, and their parents or caregivers.

New classes begin Monday, Jan. 4, at the Riverside Multicultural Center, 522 W. Main St.

In the Music Together class, 12 children and their parents or caregivers (such as a nanny, baby sitter or grandparent) meet for 45 minutes weekly for 10 weeks to experience new songs, chants, movement activities and instrumental jam sessions. Children can create and play rhythm patterns, make up new words to songs and make up movements to express a sound.

Openings in Music Together classes are available on weekdays, evenings and Saturday mornings.
