Olathe picks Killen for vacancy on town board

Dolores Killen has been selected to fill a vacant seat on the Olathe Town Board.

Killen was sworn in Monday evening after a board work session. She was selected from a pool of five candidates seeking to replace Trustee Doyle James, who told the board he was unable to attend regularly scheduled meetings. His term was set to expire in 2012.

The board has seven members.
