Pro Bull Riders Touring Division will compete Thursday at Mesa County Fair
The Professional Bull Riders Touring Division makes a stop in Grand Junction on Thursday night as part of the Mesa County Fair.
The evening starts with a mutton bustin’ event at 6 p.m. Bull riding begins at 6:30 p.m. A Bellamy Brothers concert takes place after the bull riding competition.
The West Slope Colorado Oil & Gas Lucas Oil Touring Pro Division will be the fourth stop of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Big Bull Tour.
Advance tickets begin at $15, and include admission to the fair. Advance tickets are $15 for upper level $30 for lower level and $40 for gold buckle seating.

The rider who accumulates the most winnings for the five Rocky Mountain Bull Tour events will be given the opportunity to compete in three Built Ford Tough Series events.
The Touring Pro Division gives riders the opportunity to compete in PBR-sanctioned events while earning money to qualify for the nationally televised Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS), which is comprised of the Top 35 bull riders in the world. Every five events on the BFTS, the top five riders (based on money earned) from the Touring Pro Division are allowed to move into the BFTS.
The Touring Pro Division is the new minor-league tour of the PBR, replacing the Challenger, Enterprise Rent-A-Car and Discovery tours. The Touring Pro Division gives up-and-coming bull riders the opportunity to compete in a PBR-sanctioned event while earning money to qualify for the BFTS and the PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals.
