Nehemiah subject of women’s Bible study
Monument View Bible Church in Fruita will host a Women’s Bible Study on Nehemiah, led by teacher and counselor Linda Pringle, beginning Jan. 13.
A 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. study will be offered. Childcare will be provided for the morning study only.

Addiction combating session to begin
Fresh Start will begin a new session at 6 p.m. Monday, at Spirit of Life Christian Fellowship, 2923 North Ave., Suite 3, in the Enterprise Plaza.
The program, taught by certified addiction counselors Robert and Milana Deal, teaches people how to forgive, confront and reconcile, reclaim their real identity and be free of paralyzing behavior.

Collbran resource center plans opening
Plateau Valley Resource Center, a local, community-supported, pro-life and nonprofit service, will have a grand opening celebration from 10 a.m. to noon Jan. 15, at 58128 U.S. Highway 330, Suite A, in Collbran.
The center offers resources in support of local families and individuals and to help those facing an unplanned pregnancy. It is seeking to maintain an ongoing support system, as well as dedicated volunteers to run the center on a day-to-day basis.
Areas of need include prayer, financial support (one time and/or monthly), and baby supplies as well as volunteers in counseling, receptionists, fundraising, marketing, publicity and more.
