Severinsen makes All-South Central Region softball team
Colorado Mesa’s Jessica Severinsen made the Daktronics All-South Central Region softball team, announced Monday.
The junior from Elizabeth went 19-6 with a 2.29 ERA as a pitcher and was the Mavericks’ leading hitter, with a .388 average, 14 home runs, 13 doubles and 41 RBI.
She made the second team as a utility player; Severinsen served as the Mavericks’ designated player or played first base when she wasn’t pitching.
This is Severinsen’s second All-South Central Region team selection. She made the National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-South Central Region second team last week.
