Palisade grad Zamora selected
to Big Sky All-Conference team

Quinn Zamora, a former standout at Palisade High School, recently was selected to the Big Sky All-Conference third team in his senior year at the University of Northern Colorado.

Zamora, a fullback for the Bears, was initially a walk-on player at UNC and earned a scholarship at the end of his second year.

DraftUtopia.com, an online NFL Draft site, currently has Zamora ranked No. 5 among senior fullbacks eligible for the 2017 draft.

“I will be training at Landow Performance starting in January to get ready for my Pro Days testing in March. I have also been getting advice from my cousin Shaun Cody who played in the NFL for eight years with the Detroit Lions and Houston Texans,” Zamora said.
