Blair’s 9 3’s lift Central boys to win

Kyle Blair scored 29 points on nine 3-pointers Tuesday night, both career highs for the senior, as Central thumped Moffat County 87-41.

The Warriors (7-4) led 14-10 over the Bulldogs (3-7) before scoring at least 24 points in the next three quarters to pull away. Blair scored all of his points in the final three quarters.

Every player who suited up for the Warriors scored, with Julio Galindo adding the only other double-digit outing with 18 points.

Moffat County 45, Central 42, OT: Sierra Batchelor and Jayda Walker-Towles scored 14 points apiece in the Warriors’ loss.

Central coach Mary Doane said the Warriors (6-6) played hard and attacked both inside and out despite losing the rebounding battle to the Bulldogs (9-1).
