Broncos Caravan in GJ on Thursday

Former Denver Broncos wide receivers Mark Jackson and Vance Johnson will be in Grand Junction and Rifle this week as part of the Broncos Country Caravan.

Jackson and Johnson will be accompanied by Miles, the Broncos’ mascot, and some Broncos cheerleaders at both tour stops, according to a news release from Broncos Country Caravan 2012.

The caravan will be in Grand Junction on Thursday, making an appearance, which includes autograph signings, at U.S. Bank, 422 White Ave., from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. The caravan then will host a city celebration, which is free and open to the public, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Stocker Stadium. Fans can meet the caravan’s celebrities, see the Super Bowl trophies, play interactive games and win prizes.

The Broncos caravan will be at City Market in Rifle on Friday, 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., signing autographs, and it will have its city celebration from 5 to 7 p.m. at Garfield County Regional Airport, 0375 County Road 352, Building 2060.
