CSU tops CU at Walker Field

Colorado State University downed rival Colorado 8-5 on Friday night in the Division I semifinals of the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Conference college club championships at Walker Field.

In the other semifinal, Brigham Young handled Utah 13-7 behind Tad Farrin’s four goals.

Colorado State plays BYU in today’s championship game at 5 p.m.

Westminster got five goals from Jake Arthur to beat Northern Colorado 19-6 in the Division II semifinals to advance to today’s 2 p.m. championship against Fort Lewis. The Skyhawks, behind Paul Larson’s five goals, held off Montana State 14-10.

The Division I and Division II champions advance to the national club championship.
