Fruita’s Richardson selected as 
co-coach of the year in SWL

The All-Southwestern League volleyball teams were released Wednesday, and Fruita Monument coach Bob Richardson was selected the co-coach of the year along with Durango’s Robin Oliger.

Natalie Bulen, a senior setter at Durango, was selected player of the year.

Local first-teams selections were Fruita Monument juniors Joelle LeFevre and MacKenzie Schuller, Montrose senior Brooke Gaber and Central sophomore Nichole McIvor.
