State tennis postponed due to weather
The Class 5A State Tennis Championships in Denver are postponed for one day because of inclement weather.
The tournament was scheduled to get underway this morning, instead it will start at 9 a.m. Friday.
All three singles tournaments and the No. 1 doubles will play three rounds at Gates Tennis Center with one round of playbacks scheduled to start around 4 p.m.
The No. 2 doubles will play at deKoevend Park in Centennial and the No. 3 and 4 doubles will play at Denver City Park.
The second round of playbacks, championship and third-place matches will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday at Gates.
