Kylie Tait had 15 points to lead the Olathe High girls basketball team to a 32-22 win over Berthoud on Saturday.

Olathe (22-2), which has a 19-game winning streak, will play Trinidad on Thursday in Fort Collins in the final eight of the Class 3A state tournament.

The Pirates took fourth at state two seasons ago and lost in the regional finals last season.

“One of our kids goals is to head back there (to Fort Collins),” Olathe coach Paul Althaus said. “And we’re excited about that opportunity.”

Denver School of Science & Tech 44, Rifle 43: Bailee Cotton scored 21 points to lead Denver Science past Rifle in the second round of the Class 3A playoffs.
