Colorado Mesa Golf Pass: The benefit golf program supports Colorado Mesa University athletic scholarships, with free or discount rounds at 32 courses in Colorado and Utah. Passes are $35 each and are on sale at Saunders Fieldhouse at CMU, all City Market stores in the Grand Valley, Delta, Glenwood Springs, Montrose and New Castle, Gene Taylor’s Sporting Goods, Sports Authority and the CMU Extension campus in Montrose. Turkey Trot 5K: Registration is open for the 7th annual Grand Junction Turkey Trot, which will start and finish in downtown Grand Junction. The race begins at 9 a.m. on Nov. 28, with proceeds benefiting Toys for Tots, the Colorado Professional Firefighters Foundation and a local fund for sick or injured firefighters and their families. Register online at gjturkeytrot.org. Cost: $25 for 16-older, $15 for ages 5-15. Strollers and leashed pets are welcome at the family-friendly event.

Glacier Programs: Registration is now open for the Learn to Skate Program and all youth and adult hockey leagues at Glacer Ice Arena.
