RSSTop-seed Mankato eliminates Colorado Mesa
Minnesota State-Mankato scored two runs in its final at-bat in the ninth inning to defeat the Colorado Mesa baseball team 7-5 in the NCAA Central Region tournament in Mankato, Minn.
The loss knocked Mesa (39-16) out of the tournament and ended its season.
Jeremy Ortiz (1-1) took the loss in relief. Garrett Carpenter allowed five runs on seven hits in six innings.
