FREEDOM FLIES HIGH: 28 climbers and 11 members of the Mesa County Search and Rescue Team converse on Saturday morning at the top of the 450-foot-tall Independence Monument in Colorado National Monument. The group stopped proudly atop the monument for the national anthem after placing the American flag on Independence Day.
