The Yellowstone wildfires of 1988 overall had little affect on wildlife, which has evolved with major natural events. According to Park officials, wildfires in general are good for wildlife. It creates diverse habitats and important mosaics of different vegetation and habitat types.
In late summer 1988, had you looked in the dictionary for the definition of "hell," you might have seen a picture of Yellowstone National Park.
