Fruita Monument’s Dana Thomson hits over the block of Grand Junction’s Kenzie Younker on Tuesday night in the Wildcats’ 25-10, 25-19, 25-17 victory. The win was the 14th in a row, nine by sweep, for Fruita Monument.

’Cats extend winning streak to 14 matches

The Fruita Monument High School volleyball team continued its impressive run through the regular season Tuesday night.
The Wildcats (16-1, 7-0 Southwestern League) picked up another sweep with a 25-10, 25-19, 25-17 victory over Grand Junction (5-11, 1-6).
Dana Thomson had 15 kills and Riley Snyder added another eight for the Wildcats, which pushed their win streak to 14 matches.
