Defense, rebounding carry Tigers past Rebels

Dropping the final two games of Southwestern League play didn’t sit very well with the Grand Junction High School boys basketball team.
On Wednesday night, the Tigers took out their frustrations on the Columbine Rebels.
Drew Derrieux scored a game-high 22 points for Grand Junction in a 54-43 victory in the first round of the Class 5A playoffs.
