Glenwood Springs wears down Warriors

It was a nice start for the Central Warriors.
They moved the football, the defense played well, and they grabbed a 7-3 lead.
That’s when Glenwood Springs flipped a switch and dominated the rest of the Class 3A Western Slope Conference game for a 44-26 win Friday at Stocker Stadium in the conference opener for both teams.
The Demons scored the next 35 points to take a 38-7 lead at halftime, then padded the lead to 44-7 with the first drive of the third quarter before Central scored 19 fourth-quarter points.
