Senior’s clutch shooting lifts Central past Fruita in SWL opener

Kyle Blair spent Tuesday night working for every inch of space he could find. The scoring leader of the Central High School boys basketball team was dogged by multiple Fruita Monument defenders throughout the night, including Cade Richardson and Trey Morrill.
Blair’s early scoring kept the Warriors in the game and his free throws down the stretch allowed the Warriors to eke out a 46-42 victory in their Southwestern League opener at Central High School.
