Nick is a Colorado native. He began reporting on all levels of sports in 1997 at the Colorado Springs Gazette. After 10 years in the Springs, he spent a five-year stint as an outdoors writer and videographer in Bradenton, Fla. But once again, he swapped beaches for mountains, joining the Sentinel staff in November of 2011.
Nick enjoys snowboarding, canoeing, camping, fishing, mountain biking, basketball … to make a rambling list short, he enjoys all sports. Except, perhaps, synchronized skating.
