I was born in Wheat Ridge, Colo. but grew up in Cody, Wyo.
After spending my formative years in a town with just under 10,000 people, I moved to the “big city” to go to school at what was then Mesa State College.
I was a part-time writer at the Daily Sentinel for a little over two years before officially joining the sports department during the summer of 2013.
I love covering prep sports, and I’m the only reporter in the department that understands mixed martial arts fighting.
