Dennis "Mitch" Mitchell

Directs retail and classified advertising departments in developing and growing our business partnerships.

Education

Bio

Mitch is a native of Bedford, Ind. He started at The Daily Sentinel in September 1981, transferring to Cox Arizona in 1988. While in Arizona he held the position of Regional Sales Manager over majors, national, Tempe and Chandler.  He returned to The Daily Sentinel in his current position on Jan.1, 1992. Mitch has served on several boards including the Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce, Grand Junction Economic Partnership, Kiwanis Club of Grand Junction, as well as President of Mountain Ad Managers. He has also chaired the Advertising Committee of Colorado Press Association. Prior to The Daily Sentinel, Mitch held newspaper management positions in California, Colorado and Arizona.

Personal

Mitch is married Kathy Mitchell. He enjoys playing golf, travel and watching the Denver Broncos.
